Changes to delivery assignment feature for delivery partners
- Currently, when completing deliveries for a delivery partner, a driver will be assigned a route from the GoFor platform, and may have to hunt to find the required packages for their route. If a driver cannot find an assigned package, they will not be able to proceed with their deliveries, and will have to contact Customer Care for assistance in removing a missing package from their route.
- Now, drivers will be able to build their own route by going to their assigned bay, and scanning and loading packages until their vehicle has reached capacity.
- Packages can be added and removed through scanning. Once a driver has finished building their personal delivery queue, they can use the gofor driver app to quickly generate the best route for their deliveries.
Note: If a driver needs to remove a delivery from their queue after they've already generated their route, they will need to contact Customer Care for assistance.
