To deliver a gofor order from The Home Depot, follow the following procedure.
Procedure
- Open the gofor driver app.
- Do one of the following:
- If you received a notification of a new available delivery, tap Accept.
- To see and accept any assigned deliveries, open the menu (), then tap My Active Deliveries, locate the delivery you would like to accept, and tap Accept.
Tip: You can decline any assigned delivery by tapping Decline.
- To start a delivery, on the My Active Deliveries page, tap Go To Pickup under any accepted delivery.
- To start the navigation to the pick-up location, tap Open Directions. Navigation will open in the app of your choice.
- When you have successfully arrived at the pick-up location, tap I'm Here!
Tip: If you need to contact the given contact person for the pickup at any time, tap and send a message with the app of your choice, or tap and call.
- Locate the inventory paperwork. Under Inventory Paperwork, tap and take a picture of the paperwork.
If necessary, to delete a picture, tap , or to add an additional photo, tap Add another photo, and tap again. - Under Photograph Goods (Pre Load In), take a picture of the goods being picked up, before loading them into your vehicle.
If necessary, to delete a picture, tap , or to add an additional photo, tap Add another photo, and tap again. - Tap Begin Load-In. Carefully load and secure the goods into your vehicle, then tap Next.
- Under Loaded and Secured Goods, tap and take a picture of the goods in your vehicle.
If necessary, to delete a picture, tap , or to add an additional photo, tap Add another photo, and tap again. - Tap Head to Drop-Off. To confirm that you're ready to leave your pick-up location, tap Continue. To load more items, tap Load More.
To start the navigation to the drop-off location, tap Open Direction. Navigation will open in the app of your choice. - When you have successfully arrived at the drop-off location, tap I'm Here!
Tip: If you need to contact the given contact person for the dropoff at any time, tap and send a message with the app of your choice, or tap and call.
- Do one of the following:
- Unload all of the items from your vehicle. Tap All, then tap Submit.
- Return all of the items in your vehicle. Tap None, then in the Select Reason list, choose a reason for your return. Tap Submit.
- Unload some of the items from your vehicle. Tap Partial. Under Quantity, enter the number of each item that was accepted by the customer.
In the Reason list for each item, select the reason for your return. When all return quantities and their reasons have been entered, tap Submit.
- Under Unloaded Goods, tap and take a picture of the unloaded goods.
If necessary, to delete a picture, tap , or to add an additional photo, tap Add another photo, and tap again. - Under Site Address, tap and take a picture of the address. If possible, include the goods in the photo.
If necessary, to delete a picture, tap , or to add an additional photo, tap Add another photo, and tap again. - Under Signed Paperwork, if applicable, tap and take a picture of the signed delivery materials.
If necessary, to delete a picture, tap , or to add an additional photo, tap Add another photo, and tap again. - Tap Delivery Completed.
Results
You will see a confirmation of your payment for the delivery, and return to the My Active Deliveries page.
